Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds,(1:1)
The Beneficent, the Merciful.(1:2)
Owner of the Day of Judgement.(1:3)
Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help. (1:4)
Show us the straight path,(1:5)
The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; (1:6)
Not (the path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray. (1:7)

RABBANA TAQABBAL MINNA INNAKA ANTAS SAMEEAUL ALEEM

1- “Our Lord! Accept from us this (service); verily you alone are All-hearing, the All-knowing.” Al Baqarah:127

This du’a was a read by Ibrahim and Ismail (A.S.) when they completed the building of the Ka’bah.

The lesson is that a person must not be satisfied with actions only. Rather, after the action, be humble and beg Allah (SWT) to accept it. This is taught from the action of Ibrahim (A.S.). After completing such a lofty action he does not express pride, rather he asks Allah (SWT) to accept the action.
