RABBANA WA 'ATINA MA WA'ADTANA 'ALA RUSULIKA WA LA TUKHZINA YAWMAL-QIYAMAH INNAKA LA TUKHLIFUL MI'AAD

<p>17-  “Our Lord! Grant us that which you have promised to us through your apostles and disgrace us not on the day of Reckoning. Surely you never fail in your promise. Al-Imran(194)</p> <ol> <li>The meaning of these Du’a (from13-17)includes all the objective/needs that a person wishes for: The final objective of any person is two fold: <ol> <li>Gaining entry into Jannat.</li> <li>Saving oneself from the fire of Jahannum.</li> </ol></li> <li>And for these two objectives, there are two conditions. <ol> <li>Obedience and</li> <li>Being free for sin. Therefore, it adds up to four.</li> </ol></li> </ol> <p>All the above rendered in the above ayaat. (Bayanul Qur’an vol.2 P.85)</p> <ol> <li> Rasulullah (PBUH) said “ Destruction be to that person who recites these verses and does not ponder regarding them” (Ayah 190/1) Ibn kathir Vol.1 P.450</li> <li>Abu Hurairah (R.A.) narrates, Rasulullah (PBUH) used to recite the last 10 ayaat of surah Al-Imran everynight.(Al-Imran ibn kathir Vol.1 P.451)</li> </ol>
