Wealth is Worshipped</span><br /><span>----------------------------</span><br /><br /><span>Ibn-Abbas who said:</span><br /><br /><span>When the first gold and silver coins were made on earth, Satan looked @ them and, after observing them, took them and put them on his eyes and then on his chest. Then, he squealed happily and put them, again, on his chest and said (to them): you are the light of my eyes and fruit of my heart. When the son's of Adam love you it does not matter to me that they do not worship idols; it is enough for me that they love you (since you are the greatest idols). </span><br /><br /><span>Bihar-ul-Anwar vol 3, p.137 tradition 3. </span><br /><br /><span>Surah tauba - Repentence 9:34-35</span><br /><br /><span>Tell those who hoard gold and silver instead of giving in God's cause that will have a grievous punishment:</span><br /><br /><span>Verse 35 - on the Day it is heated up in Hell's Fire and used to brand their foreheads, sides, and backs, they will be told, 'this is what you hoarded up for yourselves! Now feel the pain of what you hoarded! '</span></p>

Anger - What the Qur'an says</span><br /><span>------</span><br /><br /><span>18:24.</span><br /><br /><span>If you get angry, remain silent. </span><br /><span>House in Jannah if you remain silent; </span><br /><br /><span>Change posture. </span><br /><br /><span>Wadu - </span><br /><br /><span>Anger - is from Shaytan and extinguish it with Wadu </span><br /><br /><span>3: 133-135. </span><br /><br /><span>Anger - is a musculine trait; strong one is who can restraint anger. </span><br /><br /><span>The Prophet SAW</span></p>

<p><span><span style="text-decoration: underline;">3. Qalb - the heart never stays the same.</span></span></p>
<p><span>Mind - never stays the same, so aql. </span><br /><br /><span>Sabar - ALLAH (SWT) mentions everything about the hidden things in the Heart and not the mind/brain.</span><br /><br /><span>So, we can use the Qur'an to understand it by making reference to it. </span><br /><br /><span>2:21 Ilm given by ALLAH; ALLAH taught Adam. </span><br /><br /><span>It's not the mind; it's the heart. </span><br /><br /><span>Surah Al-Hajj : verse 46. Hearts think.</span><br /><br /><span>A'raf - 179 verse. Those who are ignorant. </span><br /><br /><span>Qur'an says all the Ilm is Sadar hidden in the hearts! Aal-Imran verse 29.</span><br /><br /><span>So, we only relate the problems to the mind! However, the Qur'an makes it clear that it's all down to the Qalb/heart and therefore, the cure lies in the Qur'an. Confusion comes when the heart is unable to open up! Prophet Moses, heart was tightening when ordered to visit Phroah and prayed to ALLAH to open up his heart! </span><br /><br /><span>All changes in the heart, moods come from the Heart and not the mind! A healthy heart is important - to find peace - Qalb-Saleem. </span><br /><br /><span>There is also a cover sealed minds; and the Qur'an speaks of sealed Hearts that can't open up. </span><br /><br /><span>Hidden things in the Heart! That's how ALLAH addresses this!</span><br /><br /><span>The heart does everything.</span><br /><br /><span>The truine brain theory - 3 brains: reptile, mammal, </span><br /><br /><span>Brain split in 2 : left side scienctific - right side is creative!</span><br /><br /><span>Hidden scientist in every human, artist/creative person. </span><br /><br /><span>Aql, Qalb - changes every day!</span><br /><br /><span>Robert Loius : scottish doctor: split personality. </span><br /><br /><span>Tajasus: got Adam in trouble. </span><br /><br /><span>Story behind pandora's box. </span><br /><br /><span>Insaan Ilm - turns into faith/yaqeen. </span><br /><br /><span>Community of selves: </span><br /><br /><span>Faith/yaqeen is a best quality! </span><br /><br /><span>We do not use a part of the brain : 50percent is used! </span></p>

<p><span><span style="text-decoration: underline;">4. Qur'anic Christians</span> </span><br /><br /><span>Common term for Christians</span><br /><br /><span>Is: the Arabic noun al-nasara, the common Qur'anic term for Christians, which is found 7 times in Surah al-Baqarah (2) </span><br /><br /><span>5 times in Surah al-Ma'idah (5);</span><br /><br /><span>Once in each Surah al-tawbah (9);</span><br /><br /><span>And once in Surah al-hajj (22).</span><br /><br /><span>Less direct designations are those that highlight common scriptural heritage of Jews, Christians, and Muslims. </span><br /><br /><span>Of most frequent occurrence is the phrase : ahl al-Kitab (people of the book) </span><br /><br /><span>Mentioned more than 33 times in the Qur'an.</span><br /><br /><span>Other examples:</span><br /><br /><span>Alladhina utu al-Kitab). </span><br /><br /><span>Those who were given the book.</span><br /><br /><span>Allahdhina ataynahum al-Kitab </span><br /><br /><span>Those to who were given a portion of the book;</span><br /><br /><span>Alladhina utu nasiban min al-Kitab. </span><br /><br /><span>Those who read the book before you;</span><br /><br /><span>Alladhina yaqra'una al-Kitab min qablika</span><br /><br /><span>It includes verses: </span><br /><br /><span>Those who follow Jesus and his followers are mentioned by the following phrases: </span><br /><br /><span>Alladhina it-taba 'uka</span><br /><br /><span>Or; those who follow him</span><br /><span>Alladhina ittaba'uhu. </span><br /><br /><span>Qur'an praises Christians in Surah al-Ma'iadah (5:82).</span><br /><br /><span>Surah al-Baqrah (2:62)</span><br /><br /><span>Surah Al 'Imran (3:55)</span><br /><br /><span>Sur'ah Al'Imran (3:199)</span><br /><br /><span>Surah Al-Ma'iadah (5:66)</span><br /><br /><span>Verses 5:82-83</span><br /><br /><span>Surah Al-Qasas (28:52-55)</span><br /><br /><span>Surah Al-Hadid (57:27)</span><br /><br /><span>This prompts several central questions: how Muslims have understood Christians? What have these verses meant to Muslims in both classical and modern periods of Islamic history?</span><br /><br /><span>Answer lies in Tafsir!</span><br /><br /><span>The Prophet (PBUH) clearly states:</span><br /><br /><span>Whoever talks of the Qur'an on the basis of his personal opinion (ra'y) or from a position of ignorance, will surely occupy his seat in the Fire! Ibn Kathir , Tafsir al-Qur'an al-azimuth, 1:5. </span></p>

Verses 105-112</span></span><br /><br /><span>Innocence of Jew</span><br /><br /><span>Doctrine of brotherhood is only realized in Islam.</span><br /><br /><span>Jew (Zaid Ibn Masad) came to the Prophet (PBUH) and asked for his loan before his time; he was getting angry and Umar (RA) got angry and got his sword out and wanted to cut his throat with the Prophet's permission due to the Medina Treaty for Jews and Christians. </span><br /><br /><span>The Prophet (PBUH) noticed the fear on Jewish boys face and Told Umar to pay 20 Dhiram extra because the fear he put in him. So, Umar (RA) went with the boy. Then, the boy told Umar (RA) that he was testing the Prophet (PBUH) that in the Talmud (Old Testament) it says if you make the Prophet (PBUH) angry then, he becomes more patient and fore bearing! </span><br /><br /><span>Sub'an Allah! </span><br /><br /><span>So, he then said the Shahada and accepted Islam. </span><br /><br /><span>This is how the Prophet (PBUH) dealt with angry people.</span></p>

Bestow on me generous subsistence, advantageous knowledge and cure from all aliments. </span><br /><br /><span>O'ALLAH, I pray for Your Blessings, You are Most Compassion The Bounty of Transcendance Immanent, The Almighty Merciful. </span><br /><br /><span>O'ALLAH, I seek beneficial knowledge, wide sustenance and cure from all ailments from You.</span><br /><br /><span>(Hisnul Hasin)</span><br /><br /><span>ALLAH humma Innee As alooka 'ilman naa fee-ow Wa Rizq-ow waa See-ow Wa Shee-FAA amm min Kooll-lee daa-een. </span><br /><br /><span>O'ALLAH, I ask you to grant me beneficial knowledge, abundant sustenance and cure from all diseases. </span></p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span id="lw_1362652515_0" class="yshortcuts">8. Taqwa</span><span> - Arabic root word, wa'ka ya - meaning shield! </span></span><br /><br /><span>It is the verb from the word, "ittaki" which means to be careful or to be protectedor to be cautious! </span><br /><br /><span>Taqwa is an internal compass on the path that leads towards ALLAH (SWT). </span><br /><br /><span>The broader meaning of Taqwa is to develop one's behavior, so as to be cautiously aware in the worship of ALLAHabd attain nearness to Him, and in so doing, perfect oneself. </span><br /><br /><span>Servant of ALLAH is "Abd-ALLAH" which is the ideal state of Taqwa. </span><br /><br /><span>The universal principle of submission to the Divine Will. </span><br /><br /><span>Possessors of Taqwa are called Al-Muttaqun or Muttaqeen. </span><br /><br /><span>2:183 </span><br /><br /><span>Confirms that Taqwa is for everyone. </span><br /><br /><span>Though Taqwa is a state of the heart, we cannot judge the Taqwa of others, but many aspects of Taqwa will have a reflection in their character and behavior. The Qur'an prohibits anyone from claims of self-purity. </span><br /><br /><span>Surah 53 An-Najm (The Clans), Verse 32 reminds us:</span><br /><br /><span>"hold not yourself purified. Allah knows best who has Taqwa.". </span><br /><br /><span>In Islam there is only one Shari'a and one scale of righteousness for everyone and that is measured through a character of Taqwa. </span><br /><br /><span>The word Taqwa has been mentioned 151 times in the Qur'an. </span><br /><br /><span>4 verses in Surah Al-Baqarah -verse 2-5 summarizes the guiding principles for people with Taqwa! </span><br /><br /><span>2: fear ALLAH without a doubt, believe in the Qur'an;</span><br /><br /><span>3. Believe in the Unseen, steadfast in prayer, spend out of what ALLAH has given,</span><br /><br /><span>4. Believe in the revelation, before and now, believe in the Hereafter,</span><br /><br /><span>5. On true Guidance, from their Lord, it is these who will prosper. </span></p>

<p><span>9. Soul Creation - Q. 4:1 (Al-Nisa)</span><br /><span>-------------------------------------</span><br /><br /><span>"O' mankind! Fear your Lord Who has created you from one soul, and from that soul He created his wife, and then scattered many men and women. And fear Allah through Whom you demand mutual rights (and fear) the (rights of) the wombs (kinship). Indeed Allah is Ever Watchful over you."</span><br /><br /><span>An-Nisa - 4:1</span><br /><br /><span>Allah is the One Who created you out of a single soul, and from that soul He created his wife in order that he might seek comfort in her."</span><br /><br /><span>Al-A'raf - 7:189</span></p>

<p><span>10. Shaytan before Adam's Creation</span><br /><span>-----------------------------------------</span><br /><br /><span>Iblis would enter him through his mouth and came out of his anus, and said to the angels. "Do not be frightened of it, because your Lord is Samad (solid) [ie Absolute Eternal] and this is Ajwaf (hollow). If I overpower him I will destroy him." so it is capable of having all bad and/or good. </span><br /><br /><span>When the time came, Allah wanted to breathe "into him the soul which He created for him." when the soul passed through his head, Adam sneezed. The Angels said: "Alhamdulillah" Praise be to Allah;</span><br /><br /><span>So, he said, " Alhamdulillah; Allah said afterwards, " Rahimaka Rabbuka"</span><br /><br /><span>Your Lord has Mercy upon you. </span><br /><br /><span>When the soul entered into hid eyes, he saw the fruits of Paradise, and when it entered into his stomach, he desired food. Hence he jumped in haste, for therefore of Paradise, before the soul even entered into his legs. </span><br /><br /><span>That is what Allah indicated in this Verse: </span><br /><br /><span>Khaliqal Insaanu Min Ajal</span><br /><br /><span>Man is created of haste! </span><br /><br /><span>Al-Anbiya </span><span id="lw_1362652565_1" class="yshortcuts">21:37</span><span>. </span><br /><br /><span>When Adam sneezed and said, "ALHUMDULILLAHI Rabbil-Alamin"</span><br /><br /><span>Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds". </span><br /><br /><span>Allah answered him by saying;</span><br /><br /><span>" Yarhamuk-Allah"</span><br /><br /><span>Allah bestows His Mercy upon you".</span><br /><br /><span>(Sahih of Ibn Hibban 6165). </span><br /><br /><span>When Allah created Adam, He stroked his back. So all the souls that were due to be born in his progeny until the Day of Judgement, came out of his back. Between the eyes of every human He made a shining light and put them before Adam. </span><br /><br /><span>At-Tirmidhi 3076.</span><br /><br /><span>"And when your Lord brought forth from the loins of the children of Adam, their offspring, made them bear witness about themselves: "Am I not your Lord?"
